Degrees, licenses, and qualifications awarded upon graduation of an undergraduate program
- 1. Students graduating from FWU’s undergraduate program receive a bachelor’s degree.
- 2. Students who complete the teacher training program coursework and graduate with the required credits qualify for the respective teacher’s licenses shown in the table below.

- 3. Students who (a) obtain the First-Class Junior High School or High School Teacher’s License in either Japanese, English, or Science, and (b) earn 10 credits from the 5 specified subjects can obtain the teacher-librarian qualification.
- 4. Students in the Department of Food and Health Sciences who register for courses in the dietitian training program and graduate with the required credits qualify for the dietitian license. Students who register for courses in the Registered Dietitian training program and graduate with the required credits qualify to take the National Examination for Registered Dietitian.
- 5. Students in the Department of Food and Health Sciences who graduate with the required credits qualify for the appointment qualifications of Food Sanitation Inspector and Food Sanitation Supervisor.
Graduate School
Students who complete the Master’s Program for Language and Culture with credits earned from the specified subjects qualify for the following teacher’s licenses.
