Undergraduate and Graduate

Graduate School Overview

Fukuoka Women’s University (FWU) launched its International College of Arts and Sciences in April 2011 with the aim of developing female leaders in the age of globalization. To further strengthen and advance FWU’s educational mission, the graduate school expanded its academic offer in April 2015 with new master’s programs, which are specialized education programs designed to produce female leaders with more advanced expertise by building on and developing the knowledge gained in undergraduate studies.
Furthermore, in April 2017, FWU launched doctoral programs under each graduate school aimed at developing specialists with extensive experience and a global perspective, equipped to take on leadership roles at home and abroad, and prepared to succeed globally. The doctoral programs are based on the master’s programs in the same fields.
